Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso

Archives

The Foundation holds the archives of Olga Khokhlova, a dancer with the Ballets Russes and Pablo Picasso’s first wife.

All of these documents, which include photographs, films, correspondence, books, newspaper clippings and personal items, offer a valuable insight into the shared life of Olga and Pablo, and that of their son Paul, until the couple separated in 1935.

An inventory of these archives is currently underway, thanks to the research being carried out within the Foundation.

The archives are priceless resources for art historians, and are not open to the general public.
